Misa on Wheels is a figurehead in many New England conventions. Her hobbies including posing, shopping, and writing names in her death note!
“Someone once asked me if my condition is contagious. I answered yes. Smiling is highly contagious.”
“Above all else in the hobby, it is important to remember that cosplay is a community. No matter your age, fandoms, or ‘level of geekiness,’ our love for this hobby should only bring us together and never apart.”

Hello! I was just looking up some Misa cosplays (I'm gonna do a "Misa as an adult" type thing, and I wanted to get some ideas), and I saw a picture of you, and noticed you had a tumblr. So I checked it out, and I just wanted to say that you're very pretty! If you ever want to try a new cosplay, I'd say you'd look great as a fantasy character, like Belle, Snow White, or Little Red (Not just disney version, though). I don't know why, but that's kind of what you remind me of x3
Aww thank you!! I am actually planning a Snow White cosplay currently <3
Anonymous asked:
Why dont you cosplay characters that actually are in wheelchairs like the chic from elfen lied or Oracle/Barbara Gordon
I do not let my use of a wheelchair limit my cosplay choices.
And I have cosplayed Oracle :)
For the LOVE of Cosplay
The cosplay community could use more love. There is a difference between critique and insult, and we should all remember this. I have seen too many cosplayers subjected to unwarranted negativity, especially online, and the time for this to stop is now.
“Cosplay is not something you outgrow; it is something that grows with you. With every year comes new friends, new costumes, and new magic. You are never to old to try cosplaying and never too young, or ‘inexperienced,’ to start.”
“The past is important, but it is just that: the past. Looking back can be nice, but it is nowhere to stay. There are still NEW best days of your life just waiting to happen. So, look ahead with excitement, as we never know what day will become a new best.”
